Glenworth Valley

Situated in a valley amongst thousands of acres of National Park, lies Australia’s largest horse riding and outdoor adventure centre. Glenworth Valley Horse Riding & Outdoor Adventures operates on 3,000 acres of unspoilt wilderness at Peats Ridge where it has been operating for almost 40 years. We offer adventure experiences, fun and excitement for corporate team building, individuals and family groups.

Glenworth Valley has been renowned for their Horse Riding and agistment, but has seen recent growth with its expansion into adventure activities and now offers Quad Biking, Kayaking and Abseiling.

Glenworth Valley is the largest private land holding on the Central Coast consisting of 3,000 acres of spectacular wilderness, with everything from lush green valleys, ancient rainforest trails through to natural rock pools you can swim in. Glenworth Valley also holds claim to the oldest standing house on the Central Coast, built in 1832 and made out of local sandstone.

Largely due the efforts of Central Coast Tourism and Tourism NSW, Glenworth Valley is famous throughout the world as being the best place to go horse riding in Australia. We have built up a reputation as the most professional and successful horse riding centre in Australia including 200 quality horses, a beautiful riding environment where our customers have the opportunity to go free-range riding on their own or with one of our experienced guides. Horse riding enthusiasts travel from overseas particularly to go horse riding at Glenworth Valley.

The Floraide


An annual event, the Floriade 2012, is the next upcoming event that is worthwhile going. So what is the Floriade? The Floraide has a range of activities that a family would enjoy and also entertainment. But the key event for the Floraide is the garden bed design, which is filled with a range of flowers that can be observed. The Floraide only holds during the spring season; this year, the Floraide will be held from Saturday 15 September to Sunday 14 October. The Floriade is located at Canberra, which requires a 3 hour bus rides from Sydney. This event is a great opportunity to escape from the urban lifestyle and capture some fresh air at the Floraide. None the less, if there is some spare time for the Floraide, Canberra is the capital city of Australia. The Parliament House, and National Zoo and Aquarium are also located at Canberra. So there are many activities or sightseeing opportunity at Canberra. The pictures below are taken from last years Floriade. These pictures demonstrates what to expect from the upcoming event.

Whale Rock

It is a special rock that local in North Epping. This walk starts at the end of Boundary Rd in North Epping.This walk starts at the end of Boundary Rd in North Epping.

From the end of Boundary Rd the track heads past the gate following the sign, Boundary Rd Fire Trail come to the sandstone feature of Whale Rock.

This rock formation really does look like a Whale. The walk down from Boundary Rd with  shortest and easiest way to see Whale Rock. The walk follows a management trail with short distance to an intersection where you will find Whale Rock. It is near Macquarie University it is a good suggestion for university students to have a look during their holiday

Port Stephens

    Blue Mountains

    Blue Mountains, listed as a world heritage site. A place located in Sydney, that many people may or may not know. A place that a has history, sight seeing, a place to have some healthy exercise - Blue Mountains is the place to go!

    Blue Mountains, located far away from the city, but many tours provides transportation that can head to the Blue Mountains. Without tours, help, you can easily head to the Blue Mountains through the trains from Central, at Sydney CBD. One of the distinctive feature of Blue Mountains is the Three Sisters, located at "Echo Point". While looking towards the Three Sisters, you are also able to look towards the endless blue Sydney Sky. Which can be seen from the picture below.


                                                                                                 

    Moreover, besides the Three Sisters main attraction, you are also able to do some bush walking through the selected path routes, and you are also able to see beautiful waterfall under the cliffs.After the walk downwards, their is an easy scenic railway to head back up, after a long walk. There are different paths to start walking from, either from the scenic railway side or from the echo point, The most common way is to start from the echo point, walk down the cliff and towards the bush walk.The Blue Mountains is a day out for all ages, a healthy and enjoyable exercise while looking through some nice scenery.
