The Floraide

An annual event, the Floriade 2012, is the next upcoming event that is worthwhile going. So what is the Floriade? The Floraide has a range of activities that a family would enjoy and also entertainment. But the key event for the Floraide is the garden bed design, which is filled with a range of flowers that can be observed. The Floraide only holds during the spring season; this year, the Floraide will be held from Saturday 15 September to Sunday 14 October. The Floriade is located at Canberra, which requires a 3 hour bus rides from Sydney. This event is a great opportunity to escape from the urban lifestyle and capture some fresh air at the Floraide. None the less, if there is some spare time for the Floraide, Canberra is the capital city of Australia. The Parliament House, and National Zoo and Aquarium are also located at Canberra.
